On the third day of school, fifth-grade students in Mr. Starks' class recite the Preamble to the U.S. Constitution. The Southwest Campus students are learning about the Constitution as part of their social studies instruction.

Varnett 5th graders talk about their future

Annette Cluff was honored by making the cover of the 5th edition of "Who's Who in Black Houston," Varnett 5th graders talked about their own future via videotaped message and said they would like to be included in a Who's Who book, too, some day.
