Southwest campus leads district in usage of Rosetta Stone language tool for October

A shoutout to our campuses for achieving excellence by using the Rosetta Stone language learning tool for October. The Southwest campus registered the top usage for the month.

"As a district, we have used 150 hours and 14  minutes of Rosetta Stone," Ms. Ingrett White-Moore, ALPHA Program Specialist, wrote to colleagues. "Way to go Varnett family!!"

Rosetta Stone is online software that allows Varnett parents, students, and staff to learn a second language on their own schedule using a cellphone, laptop or tablet. The program provides a range of language instruction in speaking, listening, reading and writing. Users can develop skills in languages such as English, Spanish and others through interactive lessons in an understandable format.
