Job Description

The Chief of Strategy and Staff serves as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for advancing the district's strategic vision and ensuring alignment between organizational goals, initiatives, and daily operations. This role provides leadership in strategic planning, project management, organizational effectiveness, and cross-department collaboration to support student achievement and district success. The Chief of Strategy and Staff works to ensure authentic partnerships between district office and schools that ensures closer alignment with school needs and conditions for systemic improvement throughout the district.

Illustrative Duties 

Strategic Planning & Execution

• Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of the district’s strategic plan.

• Monitor progress toward district goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).  

• Coordinate strategic initiatives across academic, operational, and administrative departments.  

• Utilize student achievement, enrollment, attendance, and operational data to inform decision-making.  

• Develop executive reports, presentations, and recommendations for the Superintendent and Board of Trustees.

• Support district improvement planning and continuous improvement efforts.

Experience Requirements
