I had 4 children enrolled at Varnett SW campus. The academics at this school are far better than that of the public school that we were zoned to. I have had 3 children go through Pre-K at Varnett. All of my children gained a strong foundation and the confidence to work independently. My 5th grader graduated in 2015 and I moved my 4 children to private school to keep them together. I am proud to say that they are considered GT because of the education that they received at Varnett. I am giving this school 4 stars because as other parents have stated, the administration is in need of some adjustments. For parents, I would recommend that you get involved, partner with your teacher, find ways to volunteer and help. Be involved with your child’s education. Personally, I would say that the education is comparable to private school without the added cost.
