In accordance with the House Bill (HB) 1842, the campus must develop and submit a turnaround plan. A turnaround plan is designed to explain to the Texas Education Agency the campus’s systemic approach to producing significant and sustainable gains in achievement and a "Met Standard" rating within two years.
The Varnett Public School Southeast campus will hold a public hearing from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on January 13, 2020, in the Southeast campus cafeteria, 12707 Cullen Boulevard, Houston, TX 77047.
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss and solicit stakeholder input for The Varnett Public School Southeast Campus Turnaround Plan.
If you are unable to attend the public hearing at the campus, a form to view and provide feedback concerning the Turnaround Plan will be available on the campus website from December 20, 2019, to January 24, 2020.
