Students add a little character to the day

Students at all three campuses paraded around in costumes Friday in celebration of Character Day.

About 250 students at the Southwest Campus were on display and paraded twice around half the playground as they waved to the crowds of students assembled in the bleachers.

Southwest Campus Director Dora Morrow organized Friday's event and students showed off their creativity with all kinds of dress similar to a Halloween event.

It was a gorgeous day and the parades took place one day before Carnival Day festivities on Saturday at the East, Northeast and Southwest campuses.
