Because of a growing demand, Varnett in 2012-13 will expand its PreK-4 program throughout the district. In order to accommodate these children, PreK-3 will be eliminated, Superintendent M. Annette Cluff said.
"This decision did not come easily but our space considerations forced us to make some tough choices," Dr. Cluff said.
The Pre-K eligibility process will be on the following dates and campuses:
Southwest Campus:
--Monday, July 9, 2012-Thursday, July 12, 2012
--8 a.m. to 3 p.m
Where: Southwest Campus
Northeast Campus:
--Monday, July 23, 2012-Thursday, July 26, 2012
--8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: Northeast Campus
East Campus
--Monday, July 16, 2012-Thursday, July 19, 2012
--8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
