Administrators, campus directors and teachers boarded two buses for Kinder, La., where they will hold a three-day retreat to discuss teaching strategies for the 2012-2013 school year.
The group of 109 included three campus directors, two curriculum coordinators and campus librarians.
The educators also plan to use the retreat to discuss field trips for the students and fundraisers for special projects and programs.
School for students starts on Aug. 27.
