It's that time of year again.
Pine Woods Screening Services, L.L.C. is performing its annual hearing & vision screening for the East, Northeast and Southwest campuses.
Pine Woods also screens for Acanthosis Nigricans/Type 2 Diabetes. Acanthosis Nigrican (pre-diabetic) screening is a non-invasive method to detect high insulin levels, according to the company’s website. We test grades, Pre-K 4, kindergarten, 1st, 3rd and 5th graders.
