Student Gabrielle Cook, in the 5th grade class of Mrs. Wyatt at East Campus, writes about Grandparents Day and the visit to Varnett by her grandfather, Mr. Navarro, on Sept. 6 for breakfast.
When I found out about the Grandparents Day celebration, I was excited about inviting my grandpa. I was so happy to share this time with him. We ate, laughed, and had a great time together. It was so important and special to take a picture with my grandpa. I will always remember this day every time I look at my picture. This was the best day ever!
