Because of predicted inclement weather in Houston on Friday, we regret that we must cancel the districtwide Black History Month celebration. We will still celebrate on Friday at our respective campuses. The following performances have been scheduled:
Jazz Education, Inc @ East Campus 9 a.m., staff and students only.
45-minute Jazz and Poetry Performance
Kucheza Ngoma Dance Company @ SW Campus 9:00 a.m., parents invited.
15-20 minute Caribbean Dance Performance
All Real Radio Black History Storytelling and Music appreciation
Impande Ye Africa @ NE Campus 8:30-11:30 a.m., staff and students only.
15-minute African dance workshop with each grade level
Sack lunches will be delivered to each campus.
